Hetty's Story - Hetty along with her 2 fur sisters and Mommy were visiting family for the holidays in Germanton, NC - a long way from home in Maine. During a walk on 12/25, a neighborhood dog attacked them. Little one year old Hetty bolted and ran for her life. Her fur sister Madri required emergency surgery, Mommy was injured and luckily sister Shu-Shu wasn't harmed. -12/25 4pm while on walk another dog attacked & Hetty bolted out of fear from North Carolina Hwy 65 & Terry Rd

#1 -12/26 morning update – was seen at Prime Care on North Point Blvd in Winston Salem NC. Spotted running up road in commercial area big ... followed for an hour then she crossed big intersection to an urgent care like building near mechanics and Residence Inn & lost her (this is 11miles south of where she bolted from covering a long distance her first 16 hours on the run)

#2 – 12/26 morning – mailman in Winston-Salem saw Hetty while on route (not far from sighting 1)

#3 -12/26 noon – sighted on University Parkway near State Employees Credit Union 4985 University Parkway Winston-Salem NC (not far from sightings 1&2)

#4 -12/26 mid-day – sighted on Indiana Ave crossing Polo Rd heading toward Alspaugh Dr – Winston-Salem NC (not far from sightings 1-3)

#5 -12/27 10pm – 1000 block of Red Bank Rd Germanton, NC – running along roadside in direction of highway 65 (more than 24 hours since the last sighting and she is now back 11miles north and very near where she originally bolted from)

#6 – 12/28 7am – Germanton Park parking lot heading toward park shelter 

#7 – 12/29 5:45pm – Germanton, NC - area south of  North Carolina Hwy 65 W - between Kiger Rd & Terry Rd

#8 - 12/30 3am - Hetty's HOME !!! She found her way back to the home she was visiting for the holidays and into humane live trap set on the porch
